The Walrus and the Carpenter Were walking close at hand

I was too late to give Dad more grandchildren, but it was time to expand our little family. Hans was happy to hear the news. We agree a sweet little girl would be wonderful to go with our handsome young son.

Hans and Picasso are starting to feel more normal. Chatting and joking like a father and son should.

Picasso spotted these unusual pjs and demanded a pair. They weren't expensive and any little pick me up can help.

Sweetheart, are you ok?
Johnny, are you ready to be a daddy?
What? I'm sure that she just had some spoilt food at dinner.
Oh, Johnny.

Brooke?
Yes?
I'm sorry I doubted you.

Aliana let me know that I will soon be a daddy.

I can see you.
No you can't. You just see Alaina's tummy.
Don't listen to her. Daddy can see you.

I can hear you.
Oh Johnny...
No, really
It's Alaina's tummy asking for another meal. Honestly.

I had to get out, I met someone new and made a friend.

I decided to marry Aliana quietly, at home. Somewhere Dad could keep an eye on it, so to speak. Umm, does this make me horribly morbid?
No Johnny, that's actually very sweet. If Aliana has any sense, she'll know that.

You could be right. She seemed very happy.

I finally had my baby. We are calling her Elizabeth.

Mom? Mom! What?

Not now. Not already. No!

She didn't listen. It was her time and she knows that Dad is waiting for her.

Your Mom seemed pretty calm.
No one else was.
Yes, well, the Reaper isn't the most welcome houseguest.

Death helped himself to a drink too.

We've seen Dad.
Is he chatting or finishing that last novel?
I think chatting.

Our daughter, Catherine. Born just a few hours too late, her grandmother will never meet her granddaughter.
Two babies and a child, this house is packed.
Is it time to talk about moving?
Maybe.

  1. Maybe it was time? It's good to see babies born even though their grandmother had to leave. The grim reaper was making himself comfortable. At least he didn't make the game to glitch. :)

  2. Yes MJ, Ripley definitely felt it was time.

And I'm so glad the game finally seems beyond glitching.

  3. Aww, Picasso is so cute in his doodle monster jammies.
LOL at the baby conversation between Johnny and Alaina when he was talking to his unborn baby.

Oh no. Ripley too. We knew it was coming but I was hoping she would get to see her grandchild. I almost said something in the last update about hoping Grimmy didn't show up when Johnny and Alaina had their wedding but was afraid I would jinx it.
He showed up anyway. Not at the wedding but almost.

I know everyone will be mourning but poor Picasso will be struggling even more in school now.

Hi Sammy, it's good to see you even if you are transparent.

Welcome to little Elizabeth and Catherine.

  4. Poor Ripley. A few more hours and her first grandchild was born but she didn't have those hours.

Sim time wise - Sam died Monday night and Ripley on Friday. Everyone had recovered before the second death. Picasso hasn't hit A but he has improved a lot this week.

See poll - vote now. :)

  5. Thank you for telling me about the poll. I really need to start paying more attention.

    See you tonight.

  6. I think Ripley was happy to go. She died at a much younger age then Sammy and died right next to his urn, under his picture.

    Yay for Babies!

  7. Awwww. :( I was hoping Ripley lasted a bit longer, too. Oh well... At least she will be able to watch over her grandkids in spirit, right?

And, very uncanny, that she died right next to the spot Sam died. I'm gonna call it, death by heartbreak. ;)

Two new baby girls... Yeah, I definitely think it's time to split things up, otherwise it's going to be a madhouse! Gonna have to think about which to vote for before I do. Hmmm.

  8. @Chrysame, I think you are right about Ripley. It was odd seeing her die near the picture. I had sent Brooke to take a picture of the baby - a small want of hers. She went downstairs instead and that's when I found that Ripley was about to join Sammy.

@Kaleeko, 4 adults and 2 babies - not a madhouse. In Sims 2, I had a house with 10 Sims - the oldest two were the founders, their twin sons had both moved home after college. The twin sons both married on the first night home and fathered babies. Both moms ate cheesecake at the same time the next day. When they gave birth - both had twins. So I did have 6 adults but there were 4 babies in that house. That was chaos in toddlerhood but the family did really well at it. That was my Sims 2 Landgraab family and I still have a great affection for that family name. Malcolm IV may have looked a bit weird but he was so very devoted to family.
